About the Role
Python Developer — Position Summary
Adroit Affine is looking for a skilled Python Developer to build backend services, automation frameworks and data-processing tools that power client-facing products and internal platforms. You will write clean, well-tested Python code in a collaborative Agile environment, working with cross-functional teams including data engineers, DevOps and QA engineers.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain Python-based backend services and APIs using Django, Flask or FastAPI.
• Write reusable, testable and efficient Python code with thorough unit and integration tests.
• Build and maintain data-processing pipelines and automation scripts.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs, integrating with databases and third-party services.
• Work with asynchronous task queues (Celery, Redis, RQ) for background processing.
• Collaborate with DevOps to containerise and deploy services using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Review code, provide constructive feedback and maintain consistent coding standards.
• Document APIs, modules and workflows for engineering teams.
Required Qualifications
• 2+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Proficiency in Python 3 and at least one web framework: Django, Flask or FastAPI.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL) and ORMs.
• Familiarity with containerisation (Docker) and version control (Git).
• Knowledge of testing frameworks: pytest and unittest.
• Understanding of asynchronous programming patterns and task queues.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with NoSQL databases: MongoDB, Redis or DynamoDB.
• Familiarity with data libraries: pandas, NumPy, SQLAlchemy.
• Cloud platform experience (AWS Lambda, GCP Cloud Run or Azure Functions).
• Knowledge of GraphQL or gRPC API patterns.
• Exposure to Apache Kafka or event-driven architecture.
Compensation & Benefits
• Salary: $75,000 – $125,000 based on experience.

Requirements
2+ years of professional Python 3 development.
